Dear Mike,
You and your band and Sweet Willie
added just the right touch to make our anniversary party a really
enjoyable event. We noticed during dinner that you managed to
weave in many of our suggested selections from the years when we
danced together to some of the great bands. It was a pleasure
to be able to enjoy some conversation around the table while
appreciating the background music. Willie's genial witty
emceeing was perfect and his selection for our first dance was just
right.
Your adjustments in the pace for the
rest of the evening were right on target, as the full complement of
dancers throughout the evening proved.
We hope to hear you some evening with
Marilyn and Gene in a blues club setting. Thanks for adding so
much to our enjoyment of one of the most special events of our
lives.

Hi Mike,
Just wanted to thank you for the amazing job
that you all did at the anniversary party. My parents
mentioned several times how much they enjoyed the

We wanted to thank you again for the wonderful performance by you and
your group at our reception. Our guests were very impressed and we're
all still talking about how great the band was. You came through with
all of our requests and performed beautifully. I was surprised to hear
Mcartney's Mull of Kintyre. That was kind of an offbeat request, but
you guys pulled it off with style.

We hired the Mike DiBari
Trio to play the cocktail hour of our wedding at the Four Seasons in
Boston on August 23, 2003. They were outstanding, and even added a
fourth player, a sax, to answer our request! The music was lively,
upbeat jazz that created the exact atmosphere that we had hoped to
achieve for our guests, many of whom specifically praised our choice of
cocktail hour music. We strongly recommend the Mike DiBari Trio,
without any reservations.

Heather
and I enjoyed working with you from the beginning and you and the guys
truly made our wedding day special.
I
have to say you were the most professional person that responded to our
initial post looking for someone to play our wedding. Your web
site helped Heather and I get some background on who you were, what type
of music you played, and the guys you played with. I thought that
was a great way to start, but then you sent the CD and we were really
pleased. You wouldn't believe how many prospective people said they
would send a CD or tape and never followed through! I thought they
wanted a gig!? After listening, Heather and I went and saw
you a couple of times at the Marriott Long Wharf, and that sealed the
deal so to speak, you were great live.
As
you know, our wedding day was the weekend of a certain Hurricane! Wow,
you wouldn't believe how stressful that was. Well the remnants of
Isabelle hit the day before the wedding but our wedding day was
beautiful. I felt very comfortable knowing that I
didn't have to worry about you and the band, that you'd be there set up
and ready to go. Sure enough, the wedding party came around the
corner and opened the door to the reception room, and you guys started
playing. I have to say that was a highlight in my mind and
something I won't forget. I also want to thank you for your
patience, as the weather was almost too good! Most of our
guests stood around outside soaking in the sights during the
cocktail hour!
I
know that all of our guests thought you were fantastic, I hope you
were able to tell by the applause that they gave you before the dinner
break! After dinner as the party started to move, the band did as
well. I thought that your judgment regarding the feel of the party
was great, and I really appreciate the song you played for Heather and
I, as we didn't really have a wedding song. One other thing, if
you see me trying to swing dance again, especially with my newlywed
wife, stop me! I thought I was going to have a heart attack from
the hopping around (maybe I should go to the gym more?)!
Seriously
though, I thought that you and guys helped make our wedding day
something special. I know Heather and I enjoyed the music, and
have your new CD in our CD player's current rotation! I hope that
you keep us on your mailing list, and will absolutely recommend you to
anyone I know. Thanks again for a fantastic time

After the Mike DiBari trio responded to my
ad for a band to play at our wedding reception, I checked out their
website. The mp3 samples he provided sounded great, but I figured,
"Ah, they were probably recorded and engineered. There's no
way he sounds that great live." So I went down to check out
their regular gig at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston. To my
delight, they sounded just as good live as they did in their studio
recording! I was impressed already, so I decided to hire them for
our reception.
Their communication on the needs and expectations
for the performance was excellent, their price was extremely fair, and
they were even willing to travel well outside of Boston. On the
day of the wedding, they were there right on time to set up, and they
played all of the special requests we had, as well as their own
selections. The music was perfect! The Trio did an amazing
job setting the mood and providing exactly the right feel for our
reception. All of the guests and the wedding party were very
impressed by their professionalism and musical talent, including several
guests who were professors and students of the musical arts.
All
in all, we could not have asked for a better band to play at our
reception, and we would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking
for high quality musical entertainment. Kudos to Mike DiBari and
his Trio!

| It gives me great pleasure to write a few
comments on Mike DiBari's trio and their performance at my Dad's 90th
surprise birthday party.
First, I enjoy and respect the trio's musical capabilities and
appreciate Mike's easy-going song style. My Dad may be 90, but he is as
energetic as a 65 year old -- so I wanted the music to be
"fun". Michael completely understood the kind of upbeat
musical standards I wanted, and he delivered as promised. In all our
communications, Mike responded promptly and professionally. The day of
the party, he and his trio members showed up on-time as promised. The
music contributed considerably to making the party a success. I would
hire Mike again and recommend him to my friends.
